The Ombudsman Commission received a complaint from a primary school teacher regarding unpaid salaries as a graduate teacher in East New Britain Province. The teacher was attached to Kabagap Primary School from 2016 to 2021.
The matter was referred to the East New Britain Division of Education and entered into case conference dialogues with the relevant officers.
In October 2021, the teacher was paid K24, 063.36 his outstanding salary. He expressed that he was satisfied with the outcome and acknowledged the Commission.
I am also yet to be paid my 2015 saly and, as well as my Higher Duty Allowance for the same period. All documents are in tack.
