An elementary school teacher in Gazelle District, East New Britain Province claimed that her salaries for the year 2010 were never paid by the Education Division.
The Ombudsman Commission referred the teacher’s complaint to the Education Advisor in East New Britain Province and followed up with case conference dialogues with the Education Salaries and Payroll Section.
The Education Division responsible confirmed in 2022 that the Teacher was paid K2, 017.00 for her 2019 outstanding salaries and that she was not owed any outstanding salaries for 2010 as claimed.
