OC commends the NAC for the lifting of paid parking

The Ombudsman Commission commends the National Airports Corporation (NAC) for the temporary lifting of the paid parking to cater for the Christmas peak period.

The Commission in exercising its powers under the Constitution has had discussions with NAC in regards to issues affecting the services provided to the travelling public and is pleased to see NAC taking the necessary steps to address some of those issues.

As set out under Section 218 (a) of the Constitution, the Commission has a duty to work with all governmental bodies including the National Airports Corporation to ensure that they are responsive to the needs and aspirations of the people of PNG.
