A public servant in Oro Province was alleged to have been displaced from a substantive position in 2020 due to maintaining transparency in the line of duty.
The officer had been working with the Oro Provincial Administration for almost 30 years at the time of the displacement.
The complaint was raised with the Ombudsman Commission in 2020; an investigation was initiated to look into the displacement from the substantive position. Further inquiries to the Office of the Oro Provincial Administration followed.
The Commission was later informed that the officer was placed back in the substantive position in May 2021.
