Former Employee of the National Airports Corporation Receives K18, 623.70 in Final Entitlements

The Ombudsman Commission received a complaint from a former employee of the National Airports Corporation (NAC) regarding alleged non-payment of his final entitlements.

The former employee commenced employment with the NAC in 2006 and resigned on medical grounds in November 2020. He was not paid his final entitlements despite numerous follow-up attempts.

The Commission commenced investigations and referred the matter to the Director General, Human Resource Division of NAC for appropriate action. Within the same month, the former employee advised the Commission that he had received his final entitlements. The bank statement provided indicated that his final entitlements of K18,623.70 were paid to him.

The Commission further assisted the former employee in obtaining his Nambawan Super Savings.
